Your child can help Dora clean up the beach and recycle some of the trash in a fun game full of different games to enjoy.
Educational Aspects
Basic Counting- To clean up the beach your child will need to click on the sand up to 3 times to find out what is underneath. They only have Dora talk to them when they do it 3 times. There are also coins to collect that can be counted too.
Recycling- Your child will learn what items can be recycled and why they need to be collected. They will also learn why it is important to keep the beach clean.
Shapes- In several of the games your child will need to identify items and shapes to collect them. These shapes are then identified as the item that they are by Dora when they are found.
Patterns- One of the musical games asks your child to complete a pattern by adding in the right sea creatures from a few that are floating in the sea. Each creature has a different sound and the pattern is also shown at the top of the screen.
Spanish- Some of the time Dora is speaking words in Spanish, and then using the same words in English. This includes several easy phrases and it is easy to discover what the words mean as your child plays the game.
Less Educational Aspects
Collecting Coins- There are coins that your child can collect in the game, and you can count them as you find them. The coins can not be spent on anything and are only found on the beach.
Teamwork- Throughout the game Dora mentions that teamwork is needed to complete the clean up and that working as a group of friends is the best way. There is also a message at the end of forgiveness and good behaviour.
