Counting - Each section of the map has a lot of coins that can be collected, and there is a counter on the top of the screen that goes up with each one. At the end of each section one of the characters will also say how many coins your child has picked up.

Planning Ahead - With so many coins to collect your child will need to have some idea of where they want to go, there are several obstacles in the way and if they wish to collect all the coins they will have to go around them and this requires some planning.

Problem Solving - In some of the areas your child will have to avoid moving creatures or items that can take away coins. This will require them to work out the best way to get there and also test their reactions.
