Shapes - In each section of the game there is a truck towed by the Cat in the Hat and this has a series of shapes that need to be collected. As your child picks them up from the lanes the shapes will be named, and a fact about them will be mentioned, such as Triangles have 3 Sides. There are lots of uses for these shapes throughout the game.

Hand & Eye Coordination - To collect these shapes your child will need to move the characters up and down through 5 different lanes. Each of these lanes will have the shapes in them and once you fill up the truck that part of the game is finished.

Planning Ahead - Each of these lanes will also have both special items that have a fun effect on the screen and items that they will need to avoid. Your child can see in advance what is happening and they can choose to go for shapes or special things and they also need to avoid the blockers.

Problem Solving - The second part of the game is completing patterns and filling up holes in the bridge. Each hole will require different shapes to fill up, with the shapes being harder depending on the difficulty you choose.
